About Me

My Journey

After 25 years in the conventional working world, an existential crisis sent me searching for deeper meaning. That search led me to become a Jungian-informed psychotherapist in private practice. In many ways, the field chose me rather than the other way around. Jung held that one cannot take another person further than one has gone oneself; that conviction shapes how I practice.

I bring extensive life and work experience to my practice. For close to a decade, I have trained with clinical supervisors, mentors, and programs in psychotherapy and depth psychology — work that continues to deepen my understanding of the human psyche.

My Therapeutic Approach

I practice a depth-oriented psychotherapy attentive to the patterns that organize our lives and behavior, conscious and unconscious, within a carefully held therapeutic relationship. Seeing those patterns clearly is what allows them to change. Our work together will bring unconscious material into consciousness — a vital step toward integration.

The small shifts you experience are like mustard seeds: tiny and seemingly inconsequential. Given the right therapeutic conditions, they grow into something robust. Along the way, I will teach you to use your mind differently, so that it reorganizes in a generative way. We will build on your psyche's natural drive toward wholeness.

The process begins slowly, requires self-reflection, and demands a commitment to show up for yourself. You did not arrive where you are overnight, so be realistic about the work ahead. That said, once you commit to the process, meaningful relief does not have to take a long time.

My style is inquisitive and caring, relatable yet frank. I want to help you live a life that is genuinely your own. I am adept at speaking your language while helping you translate your symptoms and your story into meaning. Over time, you will change that story yourself.

If something is not right and you know in your gut that you need help, I welcome you to schedule an initial consultation to discuss your situation and concerns. I also encourage you to consider an assessment, so that I can determine clinically whether I can help you and whether we are a fit.
